Answer:
After seeing the news last week about children's cold medicines, I wouldn't give your baby anything without asking your doctor.
Just make sure no of them has asprin in them.
That should narrow your search
A small dosage of Robitussin. The age they say to give a baby Robitussin is 6 months but at 5 months you can still give them some. It wont hurt them. I did mine
Take that child to the doctor girlfriend.
My son who is 5 months old was sick last weekend and I had to give him medicine. I don't like to do that but if you get him/her robitussin (spell?) for children. I gave him a teaspoon and it seemed to work great.
i went to the chemist and brought chemists own infants cold and allergy. its for congested lil ones also, as my daughter was 1 month when she had a really bad cold and caugh and this cleared her right up, i still give it to her when she gets all stuffy at night does the trick, and also cheap as it a chemist brand. hope this works for u
I would never chance using an over-the-counter med for one so young unless the pediatrician says it's OK. Call the office and ask. They'll probably say you need to come in for an office visit, but do call. When a baby is congested they could get pneumonia or bronchitis which can mean hospitalization.
