It is like throwing the baby together with the bath water. ... Even the director of the The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital condemned this practice:
"I'm very angry about it because people are going to get malaria - there is absolutely no reason to think that homeopathy works to prevent malaria and you won't find that in any textbook or journal of homeopathy so people will get malaria, people may even die of malaria if they follow this advice.". Homeopathy uses the premise that the body is a self-healing and self-regulating entity. Furthermore it implores the use of treatments which treat the body as a whole.
The body is indeed both self-healing and self-regulating. Self-healing means that if you cut your finger, there will be an influx of white blood cells which rush to the site to initiate healing. Self-regulating implies that the body does well to upkeep a process called "homeostasis". An example would be the homeostasis of temperature. There are cooling techniques when a body becomes too hot and there are heating processes when a body is too cold.
