What one food can you live on for the rest of you life
People just assume that B12 is something you MUST get in noticably large quantities... but it's not. You need an initial dosage amount at birth (mother's milk takes care of that), and it's recycled from there. You lose very, very little over time, and this can be made up for almost entirely by eating a handful of raw spinach every day (preferably with a healthy fat, like olive oil or avocado).
"Mostly" is what I said. Where does the rest come from? Well, ever heard of bacteria? The largest part of the B12 production a healthy (...and well informed...) individual observes is by way of bacteria! Oh wonderous day; So, you mean those antibiotics are making us more and more dependent on the flesh of animals? Well, yeah... But hey, I like my fish as much as the next guy!
I've personally gone over 2 years only eating bananas, almonds, and unleavened bread (whole wheat flour)... but that was mainly because I had a low income and some interesting hobbies. I survived, and I was actually very satisfied with that diet at the time. I was even happier to be able to buy the just-as-cheap-as-everything-el... rice milk and craft myself some pancakes on sunday morning. (No, I had no butter, no sweeteners, and absolutely no fine plates.)
You can live on very, very little food. This is a very serious world, when it comes to survival, and our body is (unknown to the modern house-sheep) a surviving machine. That's its goal; to survive. I bet you didn't know that we synthesize several (not one) special hormones and nutrients from the sun through our skin and eyes. It seems to me that medical science these days has taken a flop for the worst. Listen to your body before listening to other peoples' bodies; You can't go wrong! YOU are making your own reality, after all!
