Valerian does work well. Another thing you may want to try in Melatonin. It helps your body get back into a normal sleeping rythym. I've used it when I've went to New York to get onto the Eastern schedule then when I get back home to get back to my original schedule. You should only have to take it for a couple of days. If u cant get any sleep at night, means that your body is not tired, so in that case you need to make your body work. If your body gets tired you'll be able to sleep and get some rest.
