Well it would depend on what is causing it. I'm not doctor, you'd probably want to consult one on such a serious matter however if its caused by an iodine defficiency then it would be to increase your intake of that.

If its not then I have read a lot of times an increase in selenium and zinc in your diet helps.

If you are hypothyroid you need thyroid medication. I suggest the natural way by using Armour thyroid. Armour contains both T4 and T3, while the most prrescribed thyroid med is only T4. I'll put some related links below.

You can also use zinc, selenium, and L-tryosine to help convert T4 into T3.
