What is a really good alternative to an antiperspirant
I'm worried about the aluminum in antiperspirant and want to quit using it, but want something in a deodorant or something else that will keep odor away all day and evening. Any ideas?
Answer:According to many homeopaths, aluminum from anti-perspirants can be absorbed into the system causing high levels in the body. A lot of people have started using Tea Tree Oil deodorants. Its a natural based deodorant that can be purchased in the health food store. Often there are other options available there.
None of these items prevents perspiration as well as anti-perspirants, but they do help with odor. Simple soap and water washes during your breaks will do the same thing. Dry well and use a favorite body powder to help with the dampness. Its not so hard to tuck a wash cloth and a small bar of soap in your purse or lunch pail.
Just taking anti-perspirant vacations on your days off helps too.
They say the Body Mint pills with active chlorophyll in them work well. http://www.bodymint.com/
I use a Crystal Deodorant Stone from Deodorant Stones of America. Made from crystallised mineral salts. Rub on. It really works well. After a few months use I ran out, and had no odor problem for the week it took for the replacement to arrive.
I'll never use anything else
(I have no affilliation with them)
