I know that catnip, skullcap, valerian, and lemon balm are all used for this purpose, but which one of these is the best or is there another you'd suggest that I haven't mentioned? Thanks so much for your advice.

Answer:

Try Catnip. rosemary, and Chamomile. Those are the best calmatives that I can think of at the moment.

Valerian root is a sedative. The medicine valium is was made from valerian root for a while.

pot is the best no fooling
My boss swears by melatonin. It's actually a naturally occurring hormone that you can buy in tablet form.
bio-lab makes some great stuff
melatonin,st. johns wart
kava kava....is known as the talking herb
valeriana root, works for me. very potent though, I learned that the hard way....
Marijuana is by far the best plus all the other effects are great too
POT! Seriously! It's not addictive and it just relaxes you. I saw this news report on how they were thinking of using it medicinally on food to help with add and adhd. Trust me.
