Depends on what kind of probiotic. There are numerous good bacteria that help strengthing the body, but there are also numerous bacteria that disrupt the body. It is a little known fact that bacteria are the most effecient enzyme producers. I personally think that everyone could benefit from probiotics in the form of fermented foods. A good probiotic can work wonders. We recently moved far away from home, and the stress of it all really did a number on me. I got sick every time I ate, so I did a cleanse, started taking digestive enzymes and probiotics. All better! I suggest that if you are going to take probiotics, you take digestive enzymes as well. They work together quite nicely, and are good for people who have issues with their food not digesting, etc..
