It all depends on how much money you'd like to spend on the purifier. They sell from $50.00 to thousands of dollars. Even a "Brita" will do the trick until you get a better one. The best one has a solid charcoal filter, or two. They come in various sizes and it must say that it will kill 99.9% of all bacterias. It's a very good idea to have one.

The water I drink goes through several forms of filtration.

membrane to get the larger impurities, reverse osmosis, ultra violet light, and activated charcoal to improve the taste.
