Does anyone know if tramadol makes you sleep?

Yes and no. If you are in a lot of pain, this will take it away, making it easier to sleep. I was on it for over two years, and it did help me sleep. At first it will make you drowsy, but that should go away. Be careful to start off slowly. It can be VERY addictive for some people. I would suggest you don't drive while on it until you know exactly how you react to it.
i've been taking tramadol off and on for several years. it doesn't really help me to sleep actually, but it does help me relax enough to get some rest.
