Hops Storbile are used traditonally for nervous irritation and wakefulness, chiefly where anxiety and worry are the cause. the German Commission E monograph mentions Hops for restleseness and anxiety, as well as disorders of sleep.

Valerian root is great and have never heard of anyone becomng addicted. Skullcap is another herb and so is chamomile. There are oils made from all these herbs but are really good in a tea. Passion flower is good also.
