citronella, you can buy plants or use the candles. For use on skin, you can use Avon's Skin so soft body oil.


Drink plenty of alcohol apperent they dont bite people drink alot
drink a tablespoon or two of vinegar... (I prefer apple cider or rice wine) and this will help keep them away. (plus it's healthy for you).

Our sweat smells 'sweet' to them, so, thus they chase us.. the vinegar makes it smell bad to them, however, it doesn't seem like people can notice it.


Citronella extract mixed with unscented baby oil if you are going to use it on your skin. Brewer's yeast pills if you want to avoid mosquitoes bites without applying anything. Both work well.
marmite!!!......eating it apparently repels them, something to do with the b vitamins in your blood!
Try taking B6 vitamins...I am pretty sure I learned that in an evironmental education class it took in college.

I made some tomato and garlic wine recently. It really smells quite strong, but it tastes not too bad. I suspect that it will be a fairly good repellent.
