Answer:Ultram (with a U) or Tramidol is a form of morphine, which is for pain relief. It is a very STRONG pain pill, though, so you will need to be careful when taking them at first, esp. since you say you aren't used to taking pills usually. See how you react to them, esp. before driving or operating dangerous things if you work around machinery or such.
Side effects may be things like drowsiness, dizziness, headache, and nausea.
If you are still unsure why you DR. gave you these pills, call him back and ask. Do not EVER take pills that you are unsure of. Again, this pill is for moderate-severe pain and if you are not having pain, do not take it, and call your Dr. back.
Good luck.....
They're called Ultram or Tramidol. Just do a search on Yahoo.
Try going to webmd.com then click on drug search and enter the name of the medication they should be able to give you what you are looking for.
Pain sounds like the reason read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It may help
If by DC you mean a chiropractor, then you need to find another DC. Chiropractic philosophy states that the body is self healing and just needs a proper functioning nervous system to control the body. Along with proper diet, exercise, water intake, spiritual health and emotional health your body can heal itself. Chiropractors don't recommend taking medications because number 1 they are legally not allowed, and 2 they alter the body's natural physiology and never really address the cause of the problem. You need to find and Upper Cervical chiropractor at upcspine.com that will teach you the priciples of health and life.
