When I give a Hot stone massage. I heat the water to 130 degrees. I massage with the stones first so that don't sit in place right away. The heat has a chance to dissipate before i leave the stones in place.
Be careful not to overheat the rocks and never put the hot rocks on the same spot on your body repeatedly.
When I perform a Hot Stone Massage, I heat the water to 125 degrees F.
