I used to make salve with calendula flowers, and several friends with Psoriasis reported it worked wonders for them.

Take 1 part calendula flowers (calendula officinalis) 1/2 part plantain leaves (plantago major), and four parts base material (lard or solid vegetable shortening, and heat all ingredients until the petals turn dark brown or black. At this point scoop out the petals and leaves, and allow the salve to set up.
