I don't know about this....I did that a few days ago and I'm hungover as ever right now!!!! Why do people say "take another drink" to cure a hangover ? Won't that just make it eventually get worse?

No. Drinking more beer after your hangover has already set in will actually make your hangover worse.

It's called "the hair of the dog that bit me" and it actually does work-I tried it and it did work -but I ended up getting drunk all over again. The best remedy is soup and something fatty..

Alcohol is a diuretic, meaning it makes you pee. Hangovers are nothing more than severe dehydration. Eat a piece of dry toast or a few crackers to calm your tummy, and take some medicine for the headache. Drink a few glasses of water and do some easy stretching out to get the blood flowing nicely, and in a little while you'll feel a world better.

And next time you're drinking, have a glass of water between every 1 or 2 drinks, and your hangover the next morning will be much less.
