I know a few people who have started back smoking who tried acupuncture

I think you are not ready yet to give up

I tried quite a few things including the patches twice

Then a family member had lung cancer i gave it up no problem with the patches then

You have to be mentally ready and prepared to give up smoking. You have to want to give it up, and having a reason can help. Acupuncture can help if you believe it will. Join the smoking cessation clinic at your doctors practice,or if they havent got one there contact your local hospital or local health authority who will advise you where one is. By giving up with other people, you will all give each other strength, because you are all going through it together. Good luck x

Sorry acupuncture, hypnosis , herbal remedies and laser treatment all useless.

Only 2 things that do better than placebo are NRT and Zyban. Zyban has a higher success rate than NRT, but more potential side effects.

It helps me. Especially the first 72 hours after stopping it will help your lungs recover. It helps me with the coughing that you get the first few days after stopping.

But in the end it won't stop you smoking. That is down to your willpower.
