Answer:
Not the easiest way, but the most effective I know. Take some towels and soke them with alcohol. Then put them on your body for some time, but keep in mind, you don't want to go too low with the body temperature. So measure it constantly and hopefully you'll reach the ideal temperature.
Cold shower
Why without medicine? If you want the fever to go away, you'll do what works best (motrin and tylenol, alternating)....if that doesn't work, a tepid bath is your best bet. Also, with fevers, it's no longer reccommended to pile on the blankets....strip down until the fever breaks.
Just like Mom always said, go to bed with lots of cover on you and sweat the fever out.
drink plenty of water n lots of rest....
place a damp towel on the forehead when lying down
Drink plenty of water, use cold compresses(forhead and armpit or any of the main pressure points) luke warm shower or bath to bring the body temp down. I even has a doc tell me once to put my son in the son to break his fever.
A fever is a sign that your body is doing what it should to fight off an infection. To minimize discomfort, you can either bundle up or cool down and keep yourself hydrated. I don't suggest bathing unless you have a "chill". Feel better soon!
That depends on what kind of fever it is. There are fevers which are symptoms of another illness. In the case of a normal fever, base on experience, we have cold half-baths, rest, some good warm soup, plenty of water, eat fruits and veggies and keep your self warm. That would strenghten your resistance.
Fasting is a good method to reduce fever. But in the meantime apply cold towels on the forehead to see that the temparature does not shoot up to alarming levels . Drink plenty of water and fruit juices, coconut water etc. See that you pass motion every day because that is the sign of improvement and cure.
cold cloth on the forehead.and drink plenty of fluids
u can use basil powder
Is this for yourself or a child...because fever can indicate higher things such as infection so it's important to get checked out. If you or a child can not take medicine you can get depositories of medicine for fever like panadol in Australia from a chemist. Not nice but sometimes needed in small children. Apart from that Luke warm showers - baths cool compresses under the arms and in the groin area good luck. BTW if you get too cold your temperature will actually climb especially if it's a child because they can not regulate their temperature like an adult.
You need to determine is the fever too high and how long has the fever maintained that high level. I don't recommend trying to reduce a fever unless it is out of control. If the body is working correctly you do not want to interfere with the natural healing process. The nervous system controls every system of the body, even the immune system, so you need to check with your chiropractor to see if the nervous system is working correctly. Nature needs no help, just no interference.
water. drink it and bath in cool water (if the fever is high).
