How can you help cure a cold at home

Answer:

Well, you can't really "cure" a cold...it has to run its course but I know a few things that may help and have helped me! Usually when you feel a cold coming on you should eat a clove of garlic(once a day for a few days)....not the garlic pills out on the market, I mean RAW garlic. You can cut it up and put on a slice of bread with butter if you'd like. Your breath will not be that great! I also get apple cider vinegar (about a Tbs or 2) with some warm water and honey. Sip it through the day. Vinegar is also excellent as a gargle for sore throats.

Warm tea with honey and lemon

Tylenol/Advil/Motrin/Alleve

A decongestant

A vaporizer

Lots of water

Lots of rest

Vitamin C

Echinacea (or Echinacea Complete Care Herbal Tea)

Honey and Lemon Cough Drops

Gargle with salty water

drink alkacelzers (dont no how to spell it! sorry)cold and cough. its nasty but it makes you feel better fast.
Best way to stop a cold is to get in at the first symptoms - have a warm bath with some essential oils of eucalyptus, tea tree and lemon (about 2-3 drops of each). Have a good soak, then when you are out & wrapped up warm, make a hot lemon and honey drink (the juice of a lemon + honey to taste in a cup of hot water), take some vitamin C and put yourself to bed for a good rest. 9 times out 10 I find the cold disappears overnight when I do this.
