Does anyone know of a specific herb that could be used to aid in the removal dental tartar?

But you can remove the placque before it hardens by using mouthwash regularly (Biotene is great) and brushing regularly.

One this placque hardens like cement on the teeth it take a lazer or dentist tool to remove it. If you do not get it removed it can lead to cavities and gum disease. It gets down under the gumline and hardens there too. That is where flossing comes in. It is more important that even brushing. Flossing gets it out from the gumline and food out from between the teeth. If you are a pro at it that is great in not get the disposible flossers they have on the market. Easier to use that dental tape.

If tartar could be removed by products we have now once it is formed we would rarely need dentists.

You have to catch it before it forms or turns hard.
