Help please
my legs get really ichy and My legs get really scabbed and they end up sore becaus of the ichyness... i was wondering if there is like a natural way to reduce the ichyness of my legs...someone help?
Answer:I have the exact same problem. One time while I was watching a movie, my calves were so itchy and I bit off all my nails that the only thing that was handy was a pair of scissors. I started itching my legs with it absentmindedly while watching the movie and then someone pointed out that my legs were dripping blood. I had itched them so hard that I had lines of blood all over my legs. I have since learned that it's a nerve problem thing, and there really isn't anything the doctors can do except tell you to take benedryl and use hydrocortisone cream.
I have found that when my legs get itchy, first to wash them with soap and water, scrubbing. Then dry them off and apply a Vitamin E salve that can be purchased at any Walgreen's store. Rub it in really good. I carry some around with my all the time and apply whenever they start to get itchy.
It works for me, hope it works for you, I know how annoying itchy legs can be.
put oil in your bath water...olive oil, or babyoil
Go to the dollar store and get some Hydrocortisone Cream 1%. It costs about $2. Rub this over your legs when they itch. You probably have excema and this will help. If it doesnt do the trick then go to the doctors because you might have scabies.
At this time of year, the air and heat are very dry. That saps your skin of moisture. You should take warm showers, not hot because the hot water dries out the skin more. After your shower, pat your legs with a towel then apply moisturizer to your damp legs. Use something like Aveeno, Eucerin or Olay Very Dry skin. At bedtime apply moisturizer again.
