I want to get some reviews on Ginseng from people who have tried it themselves. I have been taking it and I notice bursts of hyper energy. I want to know the effects it has had on other people. Thanks
Answer:Increased energy and a barrier against stress. After long term use, increased coordination.
In what form are you taking it? Ginseng comes in many forms, when I was working late hours I found the ginseng in Royal Jelly was a good way to keep going. Note I did get an initial burst, but not that extream. Some drinks have Ginseng the amount is less, and so is the initial busrt from it.
I used to live in Korea, where ginseng is used a lot. I got sick and started drinking a little bottle of ginseng tonic every day. They're about as big as the one ounce liquor bottles in America. I never really noticed any results. One time I ate some stuff that looks like a white candy bar and tastes like wood. It's the most concentrated form of ginseng. I was very sick for the next two days, but I'm not sure that was due to the ginseng. I finally had to go home because I was sick and somebody mailed me a lot of ginseng tea. I threw it in a dumpster.
I found it to be the world's best hangover remedy
Ginseng has many special properties including rejuvination, energy building, restoring eyesight, improving ciruculation, cleansing the lungs, improving sexual energy, etc. However, it is very heating and is not for people who have a tendancy to get hot flashes, acid reflux, any sort of inflammatory problems, etc. It is not a universal medicine like it is purported to be. If you get hyper from taking it, I'd say you're taking too much. Good luck!
i take ashwaganda (indian gineseng) every day, it inceases energy and improves general health.
I tried Ginseng (different types and forms) and it always made me sick. But I have had Hypoglycemia since I was little and I've since found out it's not good to take for people like me. I was looking for something to benefit the adrenal glands, that was why I tried it in the first place. I have had good luck with Holy Basil, Astragalus, and the amino acid L-Tyrosine.
