I broke both my legs in a motocross accident last May. My left leg got broke in 4 places including shattering my knee joint. Had to get a knee replacement(I am 35 years old) Everytime the weather changes this legs aches so bad I almost cry. Will it get better over time or is this something I will have to deal with? Will it get worse? If so, what can I do for the pain? Thanks

first off I am so sorry about your accident and the pain you are in sweetie. I know the feeling. Have you by any chance talked to your doctor and see what he suggests might help to alleviate some of the pain so you can tolerate it? there just might be something he can reccomend either perscription wise or otc wise that might help. my spelling isn't the best tonite. so sorry. sometimes moist heat can help with the pain, i know it helps my daughter and i in the winter time with our arthritis and her carpul tunnel .

i hope i have helped you a little bit. this is just some of the things we have been told by our drs. my pain is in my face and can be caused just by brushing my hair. it is neuralgia and the one i have is the worse one you can get. I take seizure medication to stop the pain and last year one kind wasn't enough anymore. so now i am taking two different kinds. when the pills stop working the next step is surgery, where they go in to the brain stem and sever the nerve that runs from the brain stem to the face. so i know what you are going through. i hope i helped you a little. There is almost nothing worse than bone pain. I broke mid-shaft of my femur many years ago and had bone grafts done. It took two years to heal and for the pain to finally go. When the weather changes that area aches to this day.
