Yesterday afternoon my eye lid started to twitch. I thought it might be tiredness, so went to bed early last night, but woke this morning with it still the same. It has been on and off all day. What is it and how is it caused ? ? ?

i suffer from that a lot but it comes and goes as it feels. i dont know the reason for it so i too put it down to tiredness.

I dunno but i get that when i'm tired and have been concentrating on something a long time. I quite like it that keeps me on my toes!

It's a nervous tic. I get it in my eyes when I have not had enough sleep. It usually doesn't last a long time.

My eyebrow twitches when I'm stressed out or upset, it might be the same case with you.

Join the club! My left eyelid has been twitching now for the last 3 weeks?? It's driving me nutz!! I do suffer with sleep deprivation admittedly, but this is just taking the p**s!!

It's common and annoying. It can be due to tiredness but once it starts it just goes on for days.It's official name is myokymia

A Dr I once worked with used to say vitamin B 12 helped because it is good for repair and maintanence of nerves.

But even without anything it will get better soon, It will just fade away and you won't notice it any more

hi i had the same problem my eyes were very itchy and were also the water was running from my eyes sometimes its caused by stress so the doctor said but you should also go and get you're eyes tested in case you need glasses i hope this helps.
