I woke up today this morning and my right foot is in pain. I felt it once i woke up. It feels like a bruise and it looks a little bit lumpy on the side. When i walk it really hurts so I have to drag it. and I try to move my big toe but i cant because it just hurts. and when i press on it, it hurts too. i don't know how i got, maybe i hit my foot on the wall when i was sleeping or moving around but, I don't know if i did? but all i know is, it really hurts and it's like a aching feeling. exactly feels like a bruise but it does look a little purple but not that much. it isn't noticeable. but still, it looks lumpy. I can't move my foot that much. What should I do? =(

go to the doctor or call a doctor and tell them your problem they will be able to tell u what's wrong w/ your foot.

Does it only hurt on the side or does it hurt on the bottom too? It might be something called plantar fascia and you can do stretches and wear shoe inserts to help it. Doc can give good suggestions. I get it from time to time. It's a pulled tendon. Have a look at these sites or search 'plantar fascia' and see if the descriptions match your pain.

you must have hit your foot on something hard. your joints maybe dislocated that's why it hurts. don't wear shoes , for it will get worse. wear slippers. massage your foot if you can tolerate the pain. apply warm compress on the area. this may heal for a couple of weeks on it's own.

The principles work if it is muscles it is likely your calf.
