Its from being dehydrated. Alcohol causes dehydration. Your muscles are not performing as they should. Try drinking water inbetween drinks or before you go to bed and when you wake up. It should clear up by doing that.

Try drinking water between drinks (not after a drinking bout) to reduce dehydration. Take a Multi vitamin before drinking to replenish b-vitamins. Take an aspirin (not ibuprofen) before you start drinking.

Remember, you have to do this when you're drinking not after when the damage is done

When you are drinking you a poisoning yourself and your body (liver) has to htrow off that acetyl aldehyde. Try the above and see if that doesn't fix you up.

Then stop drinking alcohol or live w/ your pain

You know the old saying " Doctor it hurts when I do this" and the doctor tells you "well don't do that"

have you ever heard the saying, "listen to your body" ??? well it is your body talking to you and i think what it is telling you is that you have an allergy to alcohol......and this is your body's way of letting you know this....and it sounds a little hereditory if the same thing was happening to your mom, as well..........i want to wish you the best of luck with this problem and my God bless and keep you safe and healthy and may you become pain free in the future.

My dear alcohole you drink is finally filtered through your kidneys and affects them. In short alcohole is not suitable for your kidneys. Not only joint but you may face ear problems also. Kidney (excess or deficient) being responsible for ear and pain you are in that sort of trouble.
