I am in my 40's and I have never had a problem providing medical coverage for my family. Mabe it is because I was raised to be independant and taught to pay my own way and not to sponge off of the people willing to work!!!

Because Democrats want the American people to rely solely upon the government for everything. That gives the Democrats control of every aspect of American life. The ultimate power.

You take VA hospitals for example... they are notorious for messing up paperwork, giving shotty medical care, putting their patients through endless red tape, and general incompetance in running a healthcare system. That's a basic fact. It's a true example of how a government led health care system would operate. Everyone would get healthcare, per se, but you would be getting sub-standard health care compared to what you are getting now.

It's really a bad idea, but Hillary Clinton is bucking for it all the way!

Possibly because a large portion of eligible voters are either below the poverty level,or are here in America illegally.Think about it,how much of your town/city is here legally? You know they don't really enforce the immigrant laws.I had a friend go into Mexico on vacation,he said he only saw 10 people there! Because the Bush administration is so lax on the illegals,they easily become citizens through having 2-10 children born here,and thus vote for him.Same goes for Democrats,if these people can't afford it,let's go for the easy vote and give them (supposed) free care to pop out these 2-10 kids.Sorry,off on a tangent...The real reason is because it sounds good to voters,and people vote for what they want to believe.
