This does not happen when I cry from pain...like for example breaking a wrist.

It only happens when I cry because I was hurt emotionally.

It's like when your foot falls asleep...only it's over my entire body.

Answer:

I think it's anxiety. I've been reading about the "pins and needles" feeling recently, it can be related to anxiety. This is just the way your body reacts to emotional stress, cause like you said, you don't feel this when you cry from pain. I, for instance, suffer from tremor attacks when I'm emotionally upset. As for the cure for your problem, you should try to avoid being emotionally hurt, although I don't know how to do that. But then again, who does? :)
