its probably because you don't drink enough water.
You are probably swallowing air when you eat. You may be gulping your food.
Try eating more slowly. Chew your food better, & take smaller bites.
Also, take a drink every few bites. This will help break the quick eating cycle.

you might be eating too fast, or drinking too fast, to get rid of hiccups do this {don't swallow any saliva, or anything for a minute or two} cause this lubricates the bubble in your stomach.
