Why cant I get into bed Serious answers please
I have liver problems, which causes me to itch all over and feel generally restless. For the last 2 weeks I have slept on the sofa, I cannot bring myself to get in bed. I think its because when I get in bed and cannot sleep I get more restless and hot and itchy and stressed and dont sleep. I dont seem to get this when I sleep on the sofa. I cant sleep on the sofa forever!! How do I get back to bed without stressing myself out?
Answer:Oddly enough, when I was sick, I too, could only sleep on the couch. I would try to get rid of the anxiety about not sleeping in bed by just lying in it in the middle of the day and possible try to take a nap (I know this sounds bad, but take something to knock you out). Then, when it's bed time (NOT the same day you try to nap in the bed), line pillows up along your wall to mimic the couch. What I loved about sleeping on it when I was sick was the feeling of being hugged and the firmness of it...
New Matress and Sofa.
tell your doctor immediatly because no sleep makes you bonkers,just tell your friends and dr.
get those beds that can move up and down ( like hospital beds)
JC Penny makes sheets called SATEEN, they are much more inexpensive than satin and will not give you the hot itchy feeling as bad. Just wash them in cold and don't use bleach. If you can afford satin sheets GET THEM! They're awesome and very cool
Sleep on the sofa - it won't hurt anything if you do.
Try a new set of sheets. Also try a hypo-allergenic detergent for washing those sheets. I wish you well.
why don't you try buying a lighter weight duvet, or using a blanket rather than a duvet. turn down your radiator in your bedroom.
