Why am I always so tired
I get enough sleep, probably 9 hours a night during the week, and as many as 13 a night on the weekend...but why am I still tired? It's interfering with my social life and school, because i'm always sleepy. I'm 16 years old. I'm not on any meds that might make me drowsy. Can someone help me or give me a reason for this?
Answer:have a Dr check your blood level
if that is ok then ask to have a sleep
test done to see is you have sleep apnea
start going to bed a tiny bit earlier.
Remember: Being tired is your own choise when you have 9 hours of sleep. You are ALWAYS able to straiten up, you just have to believe it.
First you should look at your diet. Maybe you need more iron which is in greens and meat and less empty calories in sugar and carbs.
You may also have an allergy. It's Spring.
Could be a slow thyroid! Have it checked by a doctor! Or you could be anemic
Have a blood test done to check your iron levels and your thyroid functioning.
That done, I'm wondering if you are bored? Boredom can make the body feel tired.
How is your diet? Do you eat really healthily? A poor diet WILL make you feel very tired too. Maybe you need to take some vitamins if you CAN'T eat a healthy diet for some reason.
When you wake up in the morning...how do you feel about the day ahead...really think about this....nothing good happening? Try to put one good thing in each day so you can get up and look forward to it.
