There is some white stuff on the top of my tongue, it has no taste and no pain, cant brush it off with a tooth brush. I think Ive seen it before on my tongue, I dont know how long its been there, What is this crap and how do I get rid of it?
Answer:No doubt it is a yeast issue.
Thrush occurs when a yeast called candida grows out of control. Candida normally is present in small amounts in the mouth and on other mucous membranes. However, under certain circumstances, candida can grow rapidly, causing thrush.
Thrush can be a recurring problem for people who have chronic illnesses or who take medications that impair the body's ability to fight infection (weakened immune system). Since these people have difficulty fighting infections, the fungus that causes thrush can spread throughout the body, causing life-threatening blood or organ infections.
Yes, it helps getting back into balance but you need to do other things to help. In your mouth and other places especially the vagina, you have bacteria and yeast that competes against each other.
You must stop feeding the yeast!
Yeast feeds on sugar/creamy cheese (soda, candy, sugared gum, syrup, chocolate, etc.). As the yeast dies, it produces the white gunk (toxins) and that is why you know you have thrush.
Personally, I believe all Doctors should have patients eat real (non-pasteurized) yogurt while taking antibiotics. I can give myself thrush within 2-4 days by drinking soda and eating a lot candy throughout the day ever since I was on long term antibiotics about 12 years ago.
