i have been sleeping on my couch for 2 years because i can not find a mattress that i can sleep on. is there a mattress than can help people with severe back problems and back pain.

I have heard some people with back pains who spout praises regarding the memory foam mattresses. Their exuberant high ratings are mostly anecdotal, and these mattresses are quite expensive. If I were the person with the backpain, I'd buy one on the condition that if I am not happy with it, I will be able to return it.

Yes you can get chyropractic matresses, and although they can be very expsensive, u cant put a price on your health. Even your local mattress store should be able to advise you on which mattress would be best. You could even try a magnetic underlay - Ive heard they work wonders

My daughter and my best friend both say that the memory foam is the best. Make sure that you take enough magnesium, too. It can help with spasms.

I have the best mattress there is for back pain. Go to Select Comfort. They are pricey but they will last a life time. Usually mattresses only last for 20 years but these mattresses are air mattresses and are better. They have stores around the country I think but go to selectcomfort.com. It will amaze you. I really like mine and they are really warm. Get one soon.

darn... i forgot the name, but theres a mattress out there made of memory foam that forms to your body as you lay on it. It works a lot better than regular mattresses and is a lot more soothing than those metal springs in regular mattresses! I will respond again when i think of the name!!! TEMPER-PEDIC!!!!!
