Where did this blister come from

A few days ago a small blister formed on the inside of my pinky. I don't know where it came from but it really hurt because it was right where my pinky bends. I used a clean needle to let pop the blister and then put a bandaid on it so the skin would not tear. I filled up again and I did the same thing. But this time it filled up with pus. Could this be some kind of bug bite or what is going on?

Answer:

What color is the pus. If it is white with no redness, tenderness, or swelling its ok. What I would do is sanitize a pin by clearing it with rubbing alcohol (along with the blister area) and popping at the base. Once it is popped apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment. Once you apply the ointment do not put a band-aid on unless you will be running errands or cleaning. If you should let the are air dry with the antibiotic ointment so that it can heal (people usually do this when they are sleeping or watching TV) Usually I would say DON'T pop a blister b/c its just the body healing and they will pop on the there own, but if your anything like me blister drive me crazy and I have to pop them. If the area shows sign of infection such as redness, swelling, or colored pus, I would call your doctor asap.

Sounds like you burned it.

Maybe you shouldn't worry too much about it unless it gets infected which pus will start to come out of it.
