That is up to the person who determines job description and title. The hospital where I worked as a nurse uses a transporter to do that duty. This is not an area where an exact skill is needed. Usually nursing staff is responsible for seeing that the deceased is placed on the appropriate cart and then non licensed personnel will take to the morgue for funeral home pick up or for the coroner to exam what ever the case maybe.
Coroner or Medical Examiner; they are both different ,but I'm not sure which does what..you got me on this one!
