What supplement(s) should I take for my muscles

I play footbal and I have began weight training with my team for next season. We focus highly on parallel squats and I have a lot of trouble with them. I stretch before I start and Ive been doing them for over a year. But I cannot get parallel. No matter what I do I can't do it, my chest starts to drop. I can feel my mucles in my groin and legs tighten. So I was wondering what I should take to help with this problem without sacraficing the amount of weight I can do or stopping doing squats. I would appreciate some advice. If you could also mention whether your a doctor recommending this, someone who has a similar problem, or just someone who has heard about a certain product. Thanks.

Answer:

Are you getting enough protein? Protein is essential for building muscles. Eggs and beans are a good source of protein. There are also protein drinks on the market available at drug and discount stores. Check with a trainer. But with your groin and legs tightening up you may want to work on strengthening your lower back first. Also reduce the weight you lift and increase the reps as you increase the number of reps you do at a certain weight then increase the weight slightly lower the reps again and repeat. It takes time and patience but it will payoff.

Eat a lot of bananas. Otherwise, take a combination magnesium/calcium/zinc tablet or take a multi-vitamin containing these minerals, plus B vitamins. Maybe a better suggestion would be for you to go the GNC or a place like that and ask them.
