I have been cycling for quite some time now my joints especially my knees is starting to hurt, just need a good supplement to keep my joints in good condition,if it doesn't work i will consult a gp!!!
Answer:Hey there, I've suffered from that one myself, big time, I pity you. There's this great juice out though that people are using for that problem now, it's so effective it's even been in the news. You can check it out at these two places:

Good luck
glucosamine
Try glucosamine
My hubby had a bad problem with that and I started him on OSTEO-BI-FLEX @ 4 tablets a day. Within the 1st few weeks he began to feel better and by 2-months he was 'healed' (it will never be like a 20 or 30 yr old, but...).
I started him on the regular OBF because when you start out on it you need to have it circulating thru you 4 x a day. Now he takes OBF-Advanced -- which is twice a day and is like a maintenance dose. Best Wishes, Barbie
P.S. -- If money is tight, Sam's & Wal-Mart have generic OBF at much lower cost.
Glucosamine isn't quite effective without the addition of chondroitin. Prior to selecting a supplement, however, I would suggest you try going to a massage therapist who specializes in sports massage. Ask for references. Often the tendons can become inflamed and increasing the blood flow to the area through stretching and massage is all it takes to reduce the pain.
Glucosamine and chondroitin are good OTC supplements. If these are not working well for you then some intra articular injections of hyaluranic acid (supartz, synvisc) may be in order. See your doctor if you want the injections.
