What is a good method to stop feeling sleepy
One of my friends called me today around 1:00am because her boyfriend broke up with her . I was in the phone hearing her cry till like 4am. I thought about going to sleep but I had to wake up at 7am. So I decided not to sleep at all. If I did sleep i whouldent be abble to wake up ,but tomorrow im going to school. So what are some good ways to not feel dizzy and sleepy druing the day and at what time should i go to sleep tonight so i can be foccused the tomorrow?
Answer:You don't state your age but I assume you are young. Using coffee or other things to keep you awake is generally not a good idea. At a young age sleep is especially important. Look after yourself and try to put off the late night calls until the next day. It's great that you are a good friend but your health will suffer. If you are a teenager you should get at least 8 to 9 hours a night. A cat nap after school will also help. You cannot "catch up" on missed sleep. Try to get into a regular pattern and stick with it as much as possible. Good luck.

You should try to drink a lot of water. Drinking water actually makes you more awake than coffee. With coffee, you will get that nice caffeine buzz, but you are going to crash after a couple hours. Plus, caffeine dehydrates you and when you are dehydrated you can become more tired.
Take a nice large bottle, fill it up with *cold* water and try to drink about 4 to 8 ounces every one to two hours. You'll need to use the bathroom quite a few times during the day, but you won't crash like you would with caffeine.
