It depends a lot on where they get shot, what kind of gun, what type of bullet and from what distance. It is never a good thing. Brain swelling can occur leading to brain damage or even death. The bullet could bounce around in the skull basically just completely scrambling the brain. I have had two friends that have been shot in the head, they both were lucky and survived with no major side affects so far. Any kind of head trauma is nothing to mess around with so many things can go wrong when the brain is involved.

you could very easily die from it if not medical attn. seeked immediatly and even if they do survive sometimes you can have brain damage because of it.
