What do you call it? Is it a bail? I'm not talkin about chewing tobacco either. Also, where can i purchase it? Do they sell it in convenience stores?

you can get it at tobacco only stores such as stogies or smoker freindly or harts corner(local) but you may be able to buy it off the net, so look em up

Tobacco is tobacco.

It starts as the tobacco leaf, cut and dried, chomped up, put into cigarettes or put into 30g or 50g bags for rollies.

I think you mean hand-rolling tobacco. It is popular in the UK, but I take it from your lingo that you are in the US.

(It must be available over there - I have even seen John Wayne use the stuff, and I am sure he was American!)

When it comes out of the fields, it's as whole leaves that are hung in drying sheds for a certain period of time, then shipped to manufacturers of the whole range of tobacco products who do the cutting. Even cigars, rolled of tobacco leaf, are made from cut leaves - a whole tobacco leaf is too big to be practical for making cigars.

Um -need I remind you that tobacco is toxic?

If it is what I am thinking of, I believe it is called "Shag Tobacco". I'm not too sure if it would be avaliable widely, however i'm sure it shouldn't be too hard to find.
