First signs of throat cancer are very few, it is only at advanced stage when it has spread that you start getting signs and symptoms. Usually hoarseness of voice, dysphagia(difficulty swallowing) weight loss and even hemoptysis(coughing up blood) occasionally dry tickly, irritating cough is only signs present.

Also it depends which part of throat is involved. sometime you can get glands in neck (neck lumps).
