Answer:NODAL is not a disease...it is a description of the characteristics in case of thyroid (basically meaning bump/lump.) In reference to cancer, they may be referring to lymph nodes, ie nodal. When cancer spreads, it can spread via the lymphatics to other parts of the body and then it is referred to as nodal metastasis.
Usually it refers to cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes.This is called nodal disease and cancer commonly spreads to the nodes.
