What is hayfever and what can be done about it
Also how did I get it?
Answer:hey fever is when you are allergic to pollen...
...which comes from flowers..and gets blown around by the breeze and floats around in the air and settles in grass, trees, on clothes (if out and about),etc
if you have hay fever...a number of things can happen to you, but everyone has a different level of allergy so many of these things may not happen to you..
...runny noise and eyes, eyes can pus as well
sore nose, swollen eyes and/or swollen face
sneezing, swollen throat, bleeding nose,
itchy face, eyes and nose
to make these symptoms go down or temporaroly go away you can go to your pharmacy and by nose and eye hay fever spray and/or take hay fever tablets with it.
Hay fever can develop at any stage of a persons life.i was told by my doctor that there is no known reason why it comes...and most people have it for a short time and some have it forever.
It is an allergic disears of the mucous membranes of the nosw and upper air passages induced by external irritation, such as pollen in the air.
Hayfever is just another term used for allergies. You can use any allergy over the counter medication to help releive the symptoms. Some work better for others etc. You don't just "get" hayfever, the symptoms just appear over time. Usually, one will grow out of allergies, but for some, it lasts the rest of their life.
A virtually identical reaction occurs with allergy to mold, animal dander, dust and similar inhaled allergens. Particulate matter in polluted air and chemicals such as chlorine and detergents, which can normally be tolerated, can greatly aggravate the condition.
