What is a stye, what are usual symptoms, and what is good treatment for a stye?

Answer:

It's an infection that affects the glands in the base of your eyelashes. They normally drain on their own, but they can be popped just like a zit although its really not recommended. It should go away on its own in a week or so. A warm compress over your eye may speed the process.

A sty is a minor infection of the eyelid, and while uncomfortable needs no treatment, but many physicians suggest using a warm face cloth to cleanse the eyelid with tepid water, or bathing the eye with mild boric acid solution.
A sty is a form of a boil but on the eye lid. They can be caused by several different such as the acid level in your body is out of balance which you can change with a diet, in grown hairs, etc. But i find the best way to make it feel better is with a warm wash cloth i get them all the time i know how painful they can be. But i promise it will go away in a few days just keep the warm wash cloth on it and it will feel better (but do not rub the eye it will only make it worse and hurt and your eye will get red). Good luck with that
