You should go to the Dr. to get antibiotics. Once you get them it is important to finish them. wash you eyes 3x a day with no-tears baby shampoo, pat dry with clean towel. after each time you wash your eyes(the surface of course) do cold compressions for 5 min to reduce the swelling. and if it itches use warm compressions instead of cold. don't wear anything around the eye unless instructed by Dr. Sty's occur when an oil gland in your eyes get clogged by bacteria, dead skin cells or if a little bug bit you.

A great remedy is actually putting a moist tea bag on the eye for about 5-10 minutes.

It should help the swelling a bit, and it's also great for the skin.

It doesn't matter what kind of tea bag it is.
