I know you probably get this a lot, but water, it should clear the throat naturally. Make sure to have a bottle w/ you and drink it lots. Also, if it's mucus is stuck in your throat, try musinex which should dry that up. I would also suggest carrying cough drops to moisten the throat. If its a really bad cough, most cough syrups should calm that down. If it is a horribly bad cough, go to the doc and they can give you a more powerful cough syrup that should stop the coughing completely. Hope this helps!
