blood shouldn't hurt the eyes themselves, but if it wasn't your own blood you should go and get tested for any diseases that could be spread through fluid exposure. Hepatitis, AIDS and so forth.
You get any disease that person possibly has, like aids (maybe) or any infectious disease.
I work in a hospital and did get blood in my eye . The patient was HIV positive so I went on a diet of pills for 28 days and had to be tested for aids every 3 months through a blood test !! The pills made me really sick !!After a year of testing I'm glad to say I'm aids free so I guess the pills were Worth it !! If you do get blood in your eyes just wash it out with warm water and maybe you should have the person who's blood got in your eye tested ! But if you know the persons history and they are O.K. don't worry about it !!
