What color should a regular vaginal discharge be

I already went to my doctor about my problem, but I took these pills for my bacterial infection and the doctor said that it would work in 10-15 days. Well,Its only been 7 days,but my discharge is white still (I know it's gross) and I was wondering what the healthy color should be. Please tell?
Answer:Clear to whitish is normal for discharge, as long as there is not a strong foul smell, I would not worry too badly about it. If it were green or yellow, then there would be cause for concern. Make sure that you are cleaning with just water, no soap, and NOT douching.
clear is the normal color, give the pills time to work, you must have had it pretty bad, you might need a second dose. But like I said give it time it will clear up.
I think it is supposed to be clear.
