I have none on the right arm. Is this caused by any medications, age, vitamin deficiency? I would appreciate any answers. Perhaps others have it and could share advice from their doctors. I do not have health insurance and I'm low income. I'm asking for public help because that is the only kind of help I can get. I do not qualify for MediCal. Thank you.

Answer:

They are benign growths of tiny blood vessels (Angiomas). Their cause is not known (no matter how many opinions you may read on Yahoo). They are common signs of aging but do not really cause problems or turn into cancers.

Even if you had health insurance it would not cover their removal since they are considered cosmetic flaws not health problems.

Zinc deficiency or too high a dose of a blood thinner or aspirin.
I am only 50 and get this at times. it most likely is from damage to capillaries. I have a disease that has caused this. but yes, they do go away as blood gets re-absorbed through the body. It can take a long time though. Do have them do some blood work to determine the cause if you are in doubt
I have both arms like that. Mne is from all the meds I must take daily. The blood marks slowly absorb back in but it takes forever and just a tiny bump and you are back at square one.
