i red some where that spots on ur face isnt caused by the food u eat, but everyone arround me says it is. i clean my face regullarly. i heard someone saying that pimples are related to hormone. does sex have anything to do with it?

Answer:

If washing your face and using topical medications on your pimples don't work for you, read what I'm about to type:

Keep track on what you eat every day. If your acnes are caused by the food you eat, the acnes usually pop out 3 or 2 days after you consume the food. In my case, REFINED SUGAR was the only cause that aggravated my skin condition.

For some people, stress causes acnes to come out. although for the rest of the people, stress causes them to consume more sugary stuff (i.e. Pepsi, Kern's Guava juice, cinnabon, candies, SOBE, starbucks coffee, energy drink, etc.) that eventually leads to their breakouts.

Now, the acnes that are caused by these sugary stuff are usually not superficial, but deeper in the skin.

Also, try avoiding dairy products, too.

And no, sex doesn't have anything to do with it.

Inside the pore are sebaceous glands which produce sticky sebum. When the outer layers of skin shed (as it does continuously), the dead skin cells left behind may become 'glued' together by the sticky sebum. This causes a blockage in the pore, especially when the skin becomes thicker at puberty[1]. The sebaceous glands produce more sebum which builds up behind the blockage, and this sebum harbours bacteria (P.Acnes bacteria). Since the body's natural defence against bacteria is primarily phagocytes (white blood cells), these rush to the site behind the blockage (where the bacteria are). This is what gives some pimples the 'whiteheads' (unless the Phagocytes are deeper in the skin, which means you can't see the 'white' caused by them). The white blood cells then destroy (by phagocytosis) the bacteria to prevent infection
